Text Block Element

Versatile Addition To The WordPress Text Editor

Dynamic Features For Editing Text

The Text Block Element is a simple yet powerful feature that allows you to use the normal WordPress editor to insert content onto your page. Our Fusion Element Generator is able to be used to insert any element Fusion Builder offers. In addition, there is an added feature that lets you take one large body of text content and choose the amount of columns it will be displayed in. This is perfect for blog posts and pages as it offers a unique design style and gives you more control over how you present the information to your users.

WYSIWYG Text Blocks

Control exactly where and what text content you want your users to see. The Text Block Element offers the default WP editor with both the Visual and Text editor with control panels to style and arrange your text content exactly how you wish.

Split Columns

A relatively new feature of the Text Block Element is Split Columns. This feature allows you to control how many columns your content will be displayed in. If you have a large block of content that would be easier to read segmented into 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 columns, then this option is for you! Improve your readability and aesthetic by organizing your text content better.

Here we have an example of a single text block element being used, and with the amount of inline columns set to “4”, it automatically pulls your entire content box across 4 columns seamlessly. You may notice that we have dropped an image into the mix, just for good measure and to show you exactly how flexible this Fusion Builder Element actually is.

Dropcaps are also functional with the text block when it has been split into several columns. In fact, any (yes ANY) inline element can be used. This is an amazing way to break up long and varied segments of content on your website to make them easier to read, more attractive and much more modern.

Split Column Options

When you use the split column option, we provide several customization options. The Column Minimum Width options allows you to control when your columns gracefully break on screen resize, choose how much space is between each column, add vertical divider lines between each column and choose the divider size and color. This allows you to really make your content stand out!

Here’s an example of some of the border options you have at your fingertips with this update to the Text Block Element with Avada 5.5. You can amend the column rule style, size and colour, as well as spacing between columns. This allows you full flexibility to make your content appear how you want, without spanning continuously down the page in a single column. This example shows a 1px wide, 4em spacing column splitter in the default colour. This is one of the more basic style options you can select for this Element.

Add Elements to text blocks to enhance your layouts and even split those across a selected number of columns! The Text Block Element truly gives you ultimate control over how you display your content.

Element Animation Options

To add even more power to the Text Block Element, the entire element can be animated using your favorite Fusion Builder animations and transitions. Note that these animations apply to the entire element, not just segments of text within the element.

Mobile Visibility Settings

Our mobile visibility system gives you full control over what displays based on 3 customizable screen sizes. Every Fusion Builder Element has these settings and they allow you to show or hide elements on various screen sizes. In addition, you can choose what those screen sizes are! This gives you maximum control to set the exact point when an element should show or hide. Resize the page to see the elements appear or disappear based on what we set.
