The Blog shortcode allows you to use it on as many pages as you wish. Each instance can have a unique set of categories that display giving you superior flexibility for various types of layout, even magazine style.

Loaded With Customization Options

Each blog instance you use has a massive set of options for customization. These options allow you to choose how each set of posts display, making it unique to your site.

Number Of Posts

This option allows you to control the number of posts that will display with the blog shortcode.

Categories

This option allows you to choose which category or categroies will display with the blog shortcode.

Exclude Categories

This option allows you to easily exclude one or more categories. Perfect for those who have many.

Post Excerpt

This option allows you to show a post excerpt or the full content on each of your blog post.

Post Thumbnail

This option allows you to show or hide the blog post image that dispalys on each of your posts.

Pagination Type

This option allows you to choose if pagination will display for navigating through posts.

Post Title

This option allows you to show or hide the blog post title that dispalys on each of your posts.

Strip HTML

This option allows you to strip HTML from the post, which is perfect for when using excerpts.

Show Meta Info

This option allows you to display all post meta data or none at all.

Blog Masonry Options

Our improved blog masonry options allow you to set the number of columns, how many posts are viewed, column spacing and more.

  • Show or hide all meta info with one easyoption.
  • Show or hide the author of the post.
  • Show or hide the individual post categories.
  • Show or hide the comment icon and number.
  • Show or hide the date of the post.
  • Show or hide the Read More link with icon arrow.
  • Show or hide the tags of the post.

Mobile Visibility Settings

Our mobile visibility system gives you full control over what displays based on 3 customizable screen sizes. Every Fusion Builder Element has these settings and they allow you to show or hide elements on various screen sizes. In addition, you can choose what those screen sizes are! This gives you maximum control to set the exact point when an element should show or hide. Resize the page to see the elements appear or disappear based on what we set.

Customize Elements Globally Or Individually

Elements can be controlled globally inside of the Fusion Theme Options, or individually per Element by changing the options for each once added to a page or post. Individual Element options will always override the global theme options. This flexibility gives you the ultimate freedom to style Elements and content that is unique and will stand out from the rest of the site.

Element Options

  • Blog Layout – Select the layout: Large, Medium, Large Alternate, Medium Alternate, Grid*, Timeline, Masonry*.
  • Blog Layout Grid – Provides advanced configuration: Number of Columns, Column Spacing, Equal Heights, Grid Box Color, Grid Element Color, Grid Separator Style, Grid Separator Color, Blog Grid Text Padding.
  • Blog Layout Masonry – Provides advanced configuration: Number of Columns, Column Spacing, Masonry Image Aspect Ratio, Masonry 2×2 Width.
  • Posts Per Page – Select number of posts per page. Set to -1 to display all. Set to 0 to use number of posts from Settings > Reading.
  • Post Offset – The number of posts to skip.
  • Pull Posts By – Choose between Category* or Tag*.
  • Category – Provides advanced configuration: Categories, Exclude Categories.
  • Tag – Provides advanced configuration: Tags, Exclude Tags.
  • Order By – Defines how posts should be ordered: Date*, Post Title*, Post Slug*, Author*, Number of Comments*, Last Modified*, Random.
  • Order – Provides advanced configuration: Ascending, Descending.
  • Show Thumbnail – Display the post featured image.
  • Show Title – Display the post title below the featured image.
  • Link Title To Post – Choose if the title should be a link to the single post page.

Element Options

  • Content Alignment – Controls the alignment of contents.

  • Text display – Controls if the blog post content is displayed as excerpt, full content or is completely disabled.

  • Excerpt Length – Insert the number of words/characters you want to show in the excerpt.
  • Strip HTML from Posts Content – Choose to strip HTML from the post content.
  • Show Meta Info – Choose to show all meta data.
  • Show Author Name – Choose to show the author.
  • Show Categories – Choose to show the categories.
  • Show Comment Count – Choose to show the comments.
  • Show Date – Choose to show the date.

  • Show Read More Link – Choose to show the Read More link.

  • Show Tags – Choose to show the tags.

  • Pagination Type – Choose from: No Pagionation, Pagination, Infinite scrolling, Load More Button.

  • Element Visibility – Choose to show or hide the element on small, medium or large screens. 

  • CSS Class – Add a class to the wrapping HTML element.

  • CSS ID – Add an ID to the wrapping HTML element.
